Lunch

Another emigration out and back. I finally brought my watch but refused to monitor pace. I turned around after the third mile beep and back to the office. Still running easy which turned out to be 7:44 pace for the run. Mid 80s :-( record temps likely today and tomorrow in Salt Lake. I sure missed a lot of lovely running weather.

I wore an insert in my right shoe and I may have noticed a slight decrease in impact on the left hip. Hopefully it doesn't juggle something loose on the right side.

PT thereafter. Our custodian was told not to clean the changing rooms during the lunch hour. Now that I haven't been running every day, she has started interfering again. I know of no other attorney who likes confrontation less than I do.

I got a bug in my eye while running and my wife is nowhere to be found to clear it out. She is leaving for two days this weekend and I wonder if I will get around to wearing pants. My house will be sort of like the Simpson's when Marge leaves and Bart stars working at a burlesque house. I heard that my grandpa would only eat saltines any time my grandma left town.

The hot weather will help you get back in shape. Heat stress causes increase in blood plasma volume, and mild dehydration provides a positive stimulus for adaptation.

I'm down w/ no wearing pants (when Andrea was in Philly I didn't wear pants at home for 8 days... although I don't typically wear pants anyways when she is home)... but the idea that men don't cook for themselves drives me crazy. Who is that lazy?

When I explain this to my wife, her frown gets bigger and bigger. I have always been a clean person and I am generally a decent cook.

But there has been a division of labor for 13 years and I am now unaccustomed to certain things. It's so infrequent that it becomes a break from normalcy for a bit. But with the boys home, I will have to maintain a baseline of civility.

I am also a member of the secret society of lawyers who hate confrontation. You are not alone!

My dad was only in charge of dinners when my mom wasn't home. We usually had "ghetto burritos" (microwaved chili on a tortilla with cheese) and on occasion he would pick up Taco Bell or McDonalds. Needless to say, I loved when my dad "cooked" our dinners.

I love it Fritz. Those are some ghettotastic burritos.
