15 minute liberty loop + to/from car. I am avoiding running down hill. The pain is changing. I think this could be the right PT path. Hope is a dangerous thing.

My hip gets "locked" or misaligned and I can feel it's lack of cooperation when it is out. It hurt today but it felt engaged. Since the pain only exists when running, I have to check in running every so often though I am technically prohibitted from doing so. I took a small risk today but I already feel like I know better how to manage it. Now at least I can report to the PT how it is progressing.

Remember, Josh. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. I will be hoping that this letter finds you, and finds you well. Your friend, Jake.

Thanks Jake. Sorry you had to read that post. I should hire an editor.

I am doing well but severely miss getting out there. I really like running in the cold and was reminded of that today.

I suppose I have long term hope. I am already setting in motion a 2015 plan entitled Josh 2.0.

You did understand I was quoting Shawshank Redemption, right? I never know which movies were released in Utah during the 90s.

I hope Josh 2.0 involves wearing garmins on both wrists, for a techno-boost.

And I apparently was unwittingly quoting it too. I didn't watch Rated R movies back then.

It's a great movie and I'm glad it seeped into your subconscious.

Seriously, you've never watched the Shawshank Redemption Josh? You need to rent it this weekend and watch it.

Any runner will love it. It's all about endurance.

I'll expect a full report on Monday.

From Josh E on Wed, Nov 19, 2014 at 22:42:31 from 65.130.196.73

I'm not certain I've seen it end to end but I've seen parts of it on numerous occasions and I know the plot.

I read the short story 20 years ago and I know there is an IMDB conspiracy to make it the best movie of all time. Not sure it merits that lofty status. I will make a commitment to watch it end to end and decide whether it's worth 9.3 out of 10.

You will have a written report by year end.

Maybe not the greatest movie of all-time (how can you really make that decision anyways) but surely in the "worth watching on a rainy day" category.

Josh MF E.
