9 miles with 8x2 mts at 6 mt pace; 2 mt recovery. I did my Wasatch out and back from work. 65:24 total with 146 HR. Felt better than yesterday.
Based on a 9 mile run I did last month, this has about 700 ft of climb.

Josh, what are sixty step Murphys?

Striders/accelerations. Rob Murphy recently lectured the blog about running fast throughout the training cycle. At least small doses a couple times a week.
I might be crazy with the 60 step, but I hate watching my watch so I just count to 15 or 20 with a four step cycle and that gets me at least 15 seconds. By the fifth or sixth, I try to hit sub 4 minute pace.
I am guessing it will not catch on but I will be thrilled if it does. When I was a sports editor for Utah Valley Community College's paper, the David O. McKay Center was completed and dedicated. For the rest of my freshman year, I called it the "O" in my articles but it didn't catch on. This is my second chance.
