9 on the treadmill at work at the end of the day. Did 5 at 5:42-5:30 (+15 seconds for slow mill). Did an extra .25 to get an honest 5. Felt good. Heat acclimation with the lack of ventialtion in there.

Thanks. It's funny how I truly believed my injury wasn't holding me back but now I see the dark hole I was in for a few weeks. I believe now, just like St. George, that the last month of training was spot on for a proper peak! I am starting to bounce off the walls a bit.

Easy to be blind when you are in the midst of it. But now that you are healthy and running so strong, you can see that it definitely was holding you back.

Timing is everything with the marathon. You don't want to peak too early. If you hit a solid month or so like you have, leading like this into the race... you can't ask for much better.
