Lunch

40 minutes on the stairmaster (244 floors, 1.75 vertical miles) followed by some strength training and PT. Four out of five days working out and I feel much better. I really have missed it. My hip wasn't sore after my run yesterday like on Tuesday so that was also very encouraging.

PM

80 minute yoga routine.

What did you think of the yoga?

I really like it. It will be good for hip strength and general fitness. I want to do the full set at least once a week, some shorter set maybe twice and then a few poses each day. So I need to figure all that out.

But, I think with three good workouts in less than 24 hours, I overdid it a bit. I was feeling so good and then kerplop. Easy does it.

I found it intense, especially for hip strength. I could feel that the strength and stability were going to be very good for keeping good form late in hard workouts/races.

Saw that you had a set back. I guess that's the way it goes with recovery. You go down a few streets the wrong way. You'll turn it around!
