Home to Liberty Park. First time using the Kinvaras and even though it is a 9 mile run, I felt they would be ok because of lack of support. They held up great and the 8:22 average was very consistent mile to mile.

Last run in the 9EE Kinvara's - many blisters. New shoes coming in this week. Started after son's soccer game at Northwest Rec and ran to the start of Legacy parkway and back home. Consistent 8 minutes miles then slowed down at the end. I blame the heat, the sweat pants and the 100 ft climb for the slow final mile. 1:48:30

183 in the morning is a new low mark this Fall. Goal was 5 mile half marathon pace run. I was dropped up Emigration canyon and ran to the light on Arapeen and Sunnyside thinking of it as a time trial for a downhill half next month.

Splits were 6:02, 6:23, 6:26, 6:39, 6:29. 31:59 overall. 70 degrees and a bit of a headwind so very satisfied overall.

I decided not to use my Garmin or my iPhone runkeeper and just to run it. So I don't know the splits, but I wasn't feeling too spry. I was hoping for a sub 20 but it wasn't in me. What can you do? Didn't stick around to get my actual time or place so I'm guessing.
