Started out working too hard for the desired splits and quikly had trouble staying under 6. I felt like my left leg wasn't firing and it generally felt weak and tight. With a trip to Logan and perfect weather, I was pretty frustrated to have the day wasted on injury.

This has been coming since the May 2013 injury at Ogden. I always said if I can still race I will keep going. Today I couldn't race. This will be a retraining of the hips and glutes and I think it will take some time.

Sorry to hear you couldn't perform as you would've liked. Get well and then get back to it! Best wishes.

And race you did, setting some huge PRs in the half and full. Muscle imbalances have to be the root of 90% of running problems. After some PT and RnR you will be as good as new.

Been there a lot. Sometimes it just isn't there. That's a good time for a few months of surfing.

Sorry the body's not cooperating, Josh. Your plan is a good one, and I'm sure it will be successful. Hang in there. Get healthy. We need you on the roads.

Missed you on the cool down bro.

Like Fritz said, just focus on the Rock n Roll for now. Keep jammin.

Nice seeing you and your wife. Get better soon.

You racked up a bunch of PRs this year already! But I hear you. I'm sort of feeling the same way. You're thinking long term. Gotta take care of those legs. I think it'll be a good thing for ya!

Thanks all. Last year I wondered what I would be willing to do to keep running whereas now I am ready to see this through and come back from it.
