Well organzized local 5k that Fritz introduced me to. In Canyon Rim so it has about 190 ft of hills but starting an ending in the same spot. Splits we'e 5:36, 5:29, 5:36 and 36 to finish (.14 on the watch at 4:36 pace). Felt good though the hills take it out of you so the last mile isn't as fast as it should be.  Did another 18:00 5k on the way back to HHS. Feeling really good.

Won an entry into the Law Day 5k in the raffle and a year supply of frozen burritos.

Great race and tune up for Boston. You can look forward to never working that hard in any one mile at Boston.

Those burritos won't last a year if you give them to your kids every day for the next few weeks. I wonder if that would be considered parental negligence.

frozen burritos are perfect for carb-loading.

great race.

Frozen burritos don't count as real carbs. Very possible on child negligence by even offering these things to your kids Josh. Nice tune up. You're ready for sub 2:35. Great training cycle for Boston. Ya done good bro. MIH

Sounds like a fun, tough race. You are ready for Boston; no question about it! Time to rest up.

Thanks guys.

One Western Family Mild Red Chili Bean & Beef Burrito - 5 ounces. 340 calories - 140 calories from fat. 24% DV sodium. 10 grams of protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron. Honestly not as bad as I thought. It may not be treating your kids well but its not overly neglectful. Can't wait to give the one year update on the ten burritos. My guess is my wife throws them out and assumes I won't notice.

That's an honest course--great job. Were you at Emerson Elementary Art night on Thursday? If not, I saw your twin!

Mark - I have a six year old in kindergarten there. Pretty cool event.
